Jeff Sweeten's Bio 

J.D. (Jeff) Sweeten has Bachelor’s Degrees in Speech (Tarleton State University) and History (UT at Permian Basin, along with some Master’s work). He began preaching part-time in High School in 1973 and has preached in full-time works since 1981. He also worked with WVBS for four years as resident scholar answering religious questions from around the world. He served as a deacon in Lytle, TX, and as an elder at the Buda-Kyle church of Christ. He is currently the pulpit minister for the Park Heights church of Christ in Hamilton, TX. Jeff has been married to Kelleen Kris (Haller) Sweeten for 44 years, has three children (Landa in Waco, TX-a school teacher/curriculum advisor, Andrew in Buda, TX-IT consultant/supervisor, Shane in South Africa-missionary) and nine grandchildren (five in the states and four in South Africa). He is an avid outdoorsman, motorcyclist and a Navy veteran.
